A leader in the local religious institution asks Jesus to bring life to his daughter, but on the way, Jesus has to stop the suffering of a woman who is unable to participate in the life of the community, who has no one to advocate for her, whose life blood is flowing out of her.
In the same way, many Christians are deeply involved in their religious institutions, but those institutions are not bringing life to their children.
It is the same Jesus through whom power flows to stop the bleeding of the woman, who will bring life to the children of the people who upheld the institution.
