Mission Statement

We, the members of Fairplain Presbyterian Church, rejoice in God’s grace and redeeming love through Jesus Christ.  We believe we have been called as God’s children to create an open and welcoming community, to worship and praise God, and to nurture and support each other.  We are called to develop our God-given gifts and to equip ourselves to reach out to the world in love and compassion.  Thus prepared, we will share our faith, preach the gospel, feed the hungry, and be peacemakers according to God’s will.

Fairplain Presbyterian Church is a vibrant community of Christian believers and friends.  We worship using music ancient and modern; we study God’s Word and how to live with Christ’s love in our modern world; we enjoy times of fun together; and we are active in mission both locally and around the world.  We are a church for people of all ages and backgrounds, we are a place where visitors are welcomed and soon become friends.

Located at 210 W. Napier, Benton Harbor, MI  49022, our building is wheelchair accessible and we offer hearing assists for those who need a little bit of help.  We want everyone to be able to join in worship and praise and to participate in our educational classes.

Opportunities for fun are planned regularly.  We have meals together like our 2nd Sunday Lunch Bunch, which goes out to lunch the 2nd Sunday of each month with the group choosing where to go one month in advance.  Please also see information on the Events page for our FREE WEDNESDAY COMMUNITY DINNERS AT 6 PM and STRETCH AND STRENGTHENING CLASSES SEVERAL SATURDAYS EACH MONTH AT 11 AM.

If you would like more information, please contact us at 269-925-0041 and we’ll gladly answer all your questions.  May God bless you, now and always!
